Susan and Lynne met over two decades ago when they were fortunate enough to have worked together for the same employer. While their careers took them in different directions for the next many years, they remained professional colleagues and personal friends. They often consulted one another when presented with HR challenges and they continued to do “life” together when the opportunity presented. Now this dynamic duo is once again partnered on the work front. Value Driven Companies has been in existence for multiple decades and has now incorporated an additional sister company, Value Driven HR, LLC. Susan and Lynne have combined their rich HR knowledge and vast industry experience to afford their clients exactly the HR services they need when they need it.

Susan Thompson, PhD, MHR

Susan has successfully launched and managed a host of entrepreneurial consulting endeavors beginning in 1998 with Value Driven Learning, LLC. This has afforded her the ability to gain practical experience in human resource management and application, organizational and learning development, business analytics and evaluation, strategic planning and coaching, execution of large projects and problem solving.
She has developed and presented customized training programs on a wide range of HR and Organizational Effectiveness topics including workplace ethics, performance enhancement, succession planning, leadership skills and SMART goal setting. Her programs incorporate feedback, new technologies and training platforms which capture reporting processes and metrics to measure the impact of training on business results.
Her corporate and consulting engagements have taken her to a wide range of industries including healthcare, health services, food services, industrial, manufacturing, farming, distillery, retail, home improvement, financial services, insurance, hospitality, logistics, industrial retail, administrative support, HR services, construction and spa/wellbeing services.
Susan holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration, Master of Human Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Technical Writing. Her behavioral science studies included a focus on organizational development and human resources. She holds specialist certifications in procurement and return on investment with a focus on its application to HR analytics. Susan has published a book on Organizational Learning Theory in addition to being accredited with more than 25 other publications including:

Lynne Broussard, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CCP, GRP, WLCP, EHBA
Principal - Partner
Lynne has extensive experience in Human Resource operations, management and executive leadership. She has hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, employment charge response, federal, state and local employment compliance, unemployment benefit defense, conflict resolution, policy development, HR system implementation and salary administration. She has worked in the healthcare, insurance, non-profit and financial sectors and is adept in start-up, expansion and turn-around HR operations. She has developed, directed and executed HR strategies, practices, policies and procedures for companies with 40-2500+ employees.
Lynne holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and professional certifications from SHRM, HRCI, WorldatWork and America’s Health Insurance Plans along with a LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt. She has been recognized as a leading HR professional by local and national professional and peer groups as demonstrated by her being awarded the GBRSHRM Outstanding HR Professional of the Year and Honorary Lifetime Membership to GBRSHRM. As a volunteer leader, she has served in many capacities for SHRM, Louisiana SHRM (LASHRM), Greater Baton Rouge SHRM (GBRSHRM), the Governor’s Workforce Investment Board and the Louisiana Liaison Group (LLG). As a volunteer licensed lobbyist, Lynne worked to successfully enact LASHRM sponsored bills in both the Louisiana Senate and House of Representatives.
